Good morning, grandchildren!

Today’s Scripture is:

"Grace and peace from God the Father
and Christ Jesus our Savior."
Titus 1:4

One of the most important stories about Jesus is told by the four apostles—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. It happened when Jesus went to a garden to pray.

While He was praying, the temple leaders did not like Him and sent soldiers to arrest Him. Jesus could have stopped them, but He didn’t because He knew this was all part of God’s plan.

Jesus was taken to the Roman ruler Pilate. Pilate knew Jesus had done nothing wrong, but he was afraid of the crowds who wanted Jesus to be killed. So, Pilate ordered that Jesus be crucified.

But God had a bigger plan! After Jesus died, He came back to life three days later, just as He said He would. Jesus overcame death and showed that He has power over sin and death.

When we believe in Jesus as our Savior, He gives us eternal life—a life with Him in heaven that never ends. That is why we call Jesus our Savior. He saves us and gives us a life with Him forever.

Let’s Pray Together

Dear God, thank You for sending Jesus to be our Savior.
Thank You for making it possible for us to live forever with You in heaven.
Help us to trust Him and follow Him every day. We love You! Amen

Today’s Question:

How does it make you feel to know that Jesus is your Savior and that He gives eternal life to everyone who believes in Him? ✝️💛
