The Heart Behind

LolliPop Devotions

As "Lolli & Pop" to five amazing grandchildren living as far away as Alaska, our greatest challenge was also our deepest desire:

How do we meaningfully pass down our faith across three time zones?

The answer didn't come from a grand strategy. It came quietly.

We were reading a devotional together, and one week focused on asking God for a spirit of wisdom. At the end of that week, a new idea sparked—one we hadn't considered before and honestly can't take credit for.

For years, we've used the Marco Polo app to send and receive short videos with our family. It was the perfect solution for bridging the time zones. The new idea was simple: What if we used that same app intentionally?

What if we recorded a short, daily video—just two or three minutes—teaching one small aspect of our faith? It was the perfect length for short attention spans and the quick drive to daycare or school.

So, we began.

For six months, we created these videos just for our family. But as we mentioned the idea to friends, we found we weren't alone in this desire. They were interested, too, and wanted the content for their own families.

Then, after Charlie Kirk’s passing, we felt a new urgency. We began to ask ourselves,

"How can we truly impact the next generation?"

That's when we knew we had to get serious. It was time to organize this content and share it with as many people as possible.

We believe our generation—today's grandparents—has incredible resources, wisdom, and abilities. Sometimes, all that's needed is a simple idea and a spark of inspiration.

Our mission is to provide that spark. We want to offer the inspiration and the "how-to" for what your heart already longs for:

To connect with the grandchildren you love
in a way that imparts solid biblical truth,
creating a foundation that lasts a lifetime.

This ministry is our "how." We pray it can be a blessing to you as you take these ideas, personalize them, and build your own lasting legacy of faith.
