Good morning, grandchildren!
I wish I were with you right now so I could give you a
great big hug and tell you how much I love you!
Today’s Scripture is:
Revelation 17:14:
"He (Jesus) is the Lord of lords and King of kings."
Today’s story comes from the very last book of the Bible, where John was given a vision about Heaven and the future. The pictures in his vision are amazing—let’s imagine them together!
John saw Jesus riding on a white horse. His eyes were bright like fire, and on His head were many crowns. On His robe was written a name: “KING OF ALL KINGS AND LORD OF ALL LORDS.”
Behind Jesus were angel armies of Heaven, all wearing clean white robes and riding white horses. Then John saw a new heaven, a new earth, and a new heavenly city shining like a beautiful jewel. A river from God’s throne flowed through the city, and the Tree of Life grew on both sides of the river.
John heard a loud voice from the throne say:
"Look, God is living with His people now! He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more pain, sadness, or death."
Jesus said: “I am the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End, and I am coming soon!”
Wow! That sounds amazing, doesn’t it? I can’t wait to see this!
Let’s Pray Together
Jesus, I’m excited to see You coming back, riding on a white horse. You are the true King of Kings! Thank You for loving us and for preparing a wonderful home for us in Heaven. We love You! Amen.
