Every Need
Adapted from the book How Great is Our God by Louie Giglio
Good morning!
Joke for the Day:
Why did the little frog stay in the plant?
Because it already had a “leaf-y” good home!
Today’s Scripture is:
“I pray that God, the source of hope,
will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him.”
Romans 15:13 (NLT)
Every Need
Deep in the rainforest, there’s a special kind of plant called a bromeliad. Its leaves grow in a circle that forms a little pool where rainwater collects.
That tiny pool becomes a home! Frogs, bugs, and other small creatures live right inside it. They find water, shelter, and even food—all in one place. For some of them, that plant is all they ever need.
Isn’t that incredible?
God takes care of us in a similar way—but even better.
When we choose to trust Him, God fills our hearts with peace and joy. He becomes our source for everything we need. Not just food or a place to live, but courage, love, strength, and hope too.
People can sometimes forget, make mistakes, or let us down—but God never does. He always keeps His promises.
The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19 that God will supply all our needs. That means you can trust Him with anything—big or small—because He already knows exactly what you need.
And just like those little creatures in the plant, you are safe in His care.
Let’s Pray Together
Father God, thank You for taking such good care of us. Help us to trust You with everything, knowing You will always provide what we need. We love You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
