Elephant Friendship
Elephants are some of the best friends in the animal world! In a herd, they seem to know exactly how each other is feeling. If one elephant is sad, the others go right over to comfort it.
Sometimes they even use their trunks like a big, gentle hug. If one elephant gets hurt, the others help take care of it. And if a lion or another predator shows up, the elephants form a circle to protect the one in danger.
Even more amazing, elephants that are apart for years still remember each other—and when they meet again, they rush together like old friends hugging. That’s true friendship: caring, helping, and protecting one another.
Jesus wants our friendships to look like that too. He said, “Love each other as I have loved you.”
That means:
Give hugs and comfort when a friend is sad.
Help a friend when they need it.
Stand up for a friend who is being treated unfairly.
Pray for friends and share God’s encouraging words with them.
The best part? Jesus is your forever friend, and He loves, protects, and comforts you every single day.
Let’s Pray Together
Father God, help us love our friends like You love us. Teach us to comfort, help, and stand up for them. Thank You for being our forever friend. Amen.
