Space

How Great is Our God
by Louie Giglio

Good morning!

Today’s Scripture is:

“The Lord himself will go before you.
He will be with you.
He will not leave you or forget you.
Don’t be afraid. Don’t worry.”

Deuteronomy 31:8 (ICB)

Space

When we look up at the sky and think about space, it can seem really, really far away. For a long time, scientists thought space was super far from Earth.

But there is a place where Earth’s air ends and space begins called the Kármán Line. Scientists have discovered that it is only about 50 miles up in the sky. That’s a distance you could travel in about an hour in a car! So, space may seem far away, but it’s actually closer than we think.

God is kind of like that too. Some days—especially when you feel sad, lonely, or afraid—God can feel far away. But the truth is, He is always right there with you.

Jesus promised this in Matthew 28:20 when He said, “I will be with you always.”

Isn’t that amazing news? We can never go anywhere that God doesn’t go with us. When we ask Jesus to be the Lord and Leader of our lives, His Holy Spirit lives inside us and stays with us all the time for the rest of our lives.

Joke of the Day: Why did the Sun go to school? To get brighter!

Let’s Pray Together

Thank You for promising that You will never leave us or forget us. Help us remember that You are close to us, even when we feel afraid or upset. We love You. Amen.

Today’s Question:

When is a time you might need to remember that God is close to you, even if He feels far away?
