Good morning, grandchildren!
I wish I were with you right now so I could give you a
great big hug and tell you how much I love you!
Today’s Scripture is:
"Jesus said, 'I am the Good Shepherd.
The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.'"
John 10:11
Many people came to hear Jesus teach about God. Some were very religious, and some were not. But Jesus never turned anyone away. He welcomed everyone, even those who had made mistakes, and invited them to learn about God and become His followers.
Jesus told a story about a shepherd who lost one sheep. The shepherd searched everywhere until he found it. When he finally did, he was overjoyed! This story shows how much God cares about each one of us, even if we sometimes wander away or make wrong choices.
Jesus said this is how God feels about people who are far from Him—lost in sin or not following Him. When someone seeks God and is found by Jesus, it is like a lost sheep being found by its shepherd.
Jesus came to the world to seek and save those who are lost. He wants everyone to have a close relationship with Him and experience His love, guidance, and care.
Just like a shepherd guides sheep to green pastures and safe places, Jesus guides us in our lives. He protects us from danger, comforts us when we are afraid, and teaches us the right way to live. Following Him brings peace, joy, and safety in every situation.
Let’s Pray Together
Thank You, Jesus, for searching for us, finding us, and taking care of us. Thank You for being our Savior and Shepherd. Help us follow You every day, listen to Your voice, and trust You to guide us. We love You! Amen
