Little Things

Adapted from the book
How Great is Our God
by Louie Giglio

Good morning!

Today’s Scripture is:

“If you are faithful in the little things,
you willbe trusted in larger ones.”

Luke 16:10

Little Things

Let’s explore the fascinating world of Wolffia globosa, the tiniest flowering plant on Earth. It’s so minuscule that it’s even smaller than those tiny sprinkles on a cupcake—just about one millimeter in length!

Imagine gathering a dozen of these minuscule plants; they would easily fit on the head of a pin. And if you had a thousand, they’d snugly fit inside an ordinary thimble! It’s truly amazing how something so tiny can hold such significance.

In the same way, the small actions we take in life are important to God. Whether it’s helping a friend pick up something they dropped, showing kindness to a cafeteria worker, or assisting a younger sibling with a simple task, these seemingly small deeds have a big impact. They bring joy and comfort to others and are noticed by God.

When we are faithful in the small things, God prepares us for greater opportunities and responsibilities. Each small act of faithfulness builds our character and strengthens our trust in God, preparing us for the bigger tasks ahead.

Let’s Pray Together

Dear God, we thank You for Your unwavering faithfulness. Help us to be diligent and faithful in the small things, knowing that You are preparing us for bigger blessings. Amen.

Today’s Question:

What is one small act of kindness you can do today that could make a big difference in someone’s life?
