Peace
Good morning, grandchildren!
I wish I were with you right now so I could give you a
great big hug and tell you how much I love you!
“But the Spirit gives love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”
— Galatians 5:22-23a ICB
Today’s fruit of the Spirit is a word called: PEACE
Peace is
• Tranquility
• Freedom from disturbance/chaos
• Mental calm
“You, Lord, give true peace. You give peace to those who depend on you. You give peace to those who trust You.” —Isaiah 26:3 (ICB)
Jesus is the PRINCE of PEACE. Jesus gives us peace.
Have you ever felt upset? Is it ever hard for you to calm down and have peace?
Ask yourself this question: Is this a big problem or a small problem?
Thinking about that calms us and brings us peace.
Putting cold water on my face helps me calm down.
Peace is when our hearts feel calm because we know God is in control. Sometimes life feels scary or confusing, but when we pray and trust God, He gives us peace on the inside. It’s like a quiet river running through our hearts.
“Peace doesn’t mean everything is perfect. It means we know God is with us no matter what happens.”
Let’s Pray Together
Father God,
Please fill us with Your peace and help us trust You when we feel worried. We love you.
Amen.
